Red Lady is an exploration of feminine presence as something simultaneously seen and unseen. The figure emerges from a field of deep crimson — absorbed by it, almost born from it — her face anonymous, her gaze obscured. She is not a portrait of any one woman. She is the memory of one, the feeling of one, the archetype that outlasts the specific.
 
The red here is not decoration. It is atmosphere — passion, desire, danger, and tenderness existing in the same breath. The umbrella that shields her eyes does not protect her; it makes her more magnetic. What is hidden draws us closer than what is revealed.
